Faith, Love and Pyrokinesis

Isolated in the snowy mountains of Caphyr is a priest named Hal, whom one day develops pyrokinetic powers against his will. Unable to continue his sacred duties in an orderly fashion, he is led to question the meaning of his lethal existence in the company of a narcoleptic stranger left on the church's doorstep one day, Beatrix. They, along with the sisters of the church and the quivering masses who dare to enter it, find their fates intertwined in strange and unexplainable ways as they are brought closer to understanding inexplicable fate.

This current iteration of Midnight at the Cathedral was begun in late 2025. It is both a reimagining and continuation of an unfinished 4-panel version that I started in 2019, which has been preserved here.
